Support Our Mission
There is no quick solution to address the lack of affordable homes for Big Sky residents. However, we can work together together to creating a balanced community where employees can live and contribute in the community where they work.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Big Sky Community Housing Trust is a tax-exempt public charity (federal tax ID #84-3391892). All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your generous financial donation.
GOOD DEEDS
GOOD DEEDS offers property owners cash in exchange for placing a permanent deed restriction on their property. The restriction: one occupant must work a minimum of 30 hours per week in Big Sky.
RENT LOCAL
Building enough housing to address the needs of residents will take years. One immediate solution is to convert some of the 1,000 vacation rentals on the market into long-term rentals for locals.
RIVERVIEW APARTMENTS
Riverview apartments is BSCHT’s next build. The project is a community collaboration between BSCHT, Lone Mountain Land Company, and Resort Tax to build 100 apartments off Lone Mountain Trail.
OPERATION COSTS
In 2017, the Chamber of Commerce incubated the idea to form Big Sky Community Housing Trust to address the dramatic growth in our community that has caused massive housing shortages.
INVESTMENT PARTNERS
Be part of the solution by participating as an investment partner in a future development. Significant tax benefits may be available.
